Pramod Bhagat

Pramod Bhagat is an Arjuna Award winning Para Badminton player. Currently ranked World Number 1 in the SL 3 Category, he is one of the most decorated Indian ParaBadminton Players. In 2019 alone, he won 20 medals, including 2 gold medals at the BWF ParaBadminton World Championships, and followed it up with gold medals in every event he had participated in 2020, before the halting of sporting events across the world. For his excellent display in 2019 he was nominated for the BWF ParaAthlete of the year, also winning the Times of India Sports Awards and SportsStar Aces Para Athlete of the Year Awards. He has won a multitude of gold medals for the nation over the years including the BWF ParaBadminton World Championships and the Asian Games.
